Louis Vuitton’s first spring beauty collection is sakura-inspired
Louis Vuitton and Pat McGrath debut La Beauté’s Cherry Blossom Season collection, heralding the return of spring sakuras, romantically vibrant and right on time
From Japan to London, the streets are flush with cherry blossom trees. Adorning the branches and lining the pavements with their petals, their reemergence heralds the announcement we’ve all been waiting for: spring is finally here. Collaborating with Dame Pat McGrath, La Beauté by Louis Vuitton have released a romantic sakura-inspired collection to celebrate spring’s arrival.
Having been an integral part of La Beauté since its launch, the Cherry Blossom Season collection marks McGrath’s first spring seasonal collection with the brand, so naturally she’s made sure no corners have been cut. An eyes and lips only capsule, the line is inspired by the delicate spring tones stemming from sakura petals, but delicacy doesn’t mean compromising on vibrancy. When it comes to the LV Rouge lipsticks in the collection, the delicacy of the flower is present through the product’s formula as opposed to the colour palate. Vibrant rose pinks and warm nudes (available in both matte and satin formulas) are enriched by natural waxes from flowers and hyaluronic acid, with an 85% skincare base and impressively long-lasting formula.

Supplemented with shea butter and berry extracts, these buildable sheer balms come in three lightweight rosy pinks, promising 48-hour hydration and irresistible shine.
