If your idea of a perfect summer afternoon involves good scent and even better ice cream, LOEWE Perfumes has done the work for you. From 16 to 30 July, the house is transforming The Dreamery in London into a multisensory ice cream bar celebrating its new Pistachio scented candle, and it sounds like the most delicious pop-up of the season.
Created in partnership with The Dreamery and its master ice cream makers, the bar serves a bespoke pistachio ice cream exclusively for the duration of the pop-up, designed to mirror the scent of the new candle. The result is a rare thing: a fragrance experience you can actually taste.
The LOEWE Pistachio scented candle itself sits somewhere between freshness and warmth, drawing inspiration from the aromatic, green-fleshed pistachio nut and the countless sweet creations it has inspired, ice cream chief among them. Crafted in Spain using natural wax, it is housed in a terracotta vessel glazed in a pale yet vivid green that echoes the vibrancy of summer, with the House Anagram stamped on its base. It is, quite frankly, as beautiful to look at as it is to smell.
