Golden Hour, Bottled! Hermès SS26 Beauty Capsule Is All the Summer Glow You Need

Bottling up the feeling of summer, Hermès have announced their limited edition SS26 beauty collection, containing all the products needed to enhance your sun-kissed glow
As we transition into a new season, it’s once again the time of year to upgrade our beauty routines. Whilst swapping foundation for CC creams, liquid liner for powder and a smokey eye for sweeping bronzer over the lid tend to be my go-to moves, here at Cable we’re also on the lookout for products to compress our routines and compliment that summer glow.
Luckily, Hermés have just announced their SS26 capsule: a limited line comprising of a sun-kissed powder, lip care products and a nail enamel. It’s the perfect minimalistic beauty routine, like bottling up that feeling of getting ready on a European balcony with a Fanta Lemon in hand. Or a beer, we don’t judge.

The brain-child of Gregoris Pyrpylis, Creative Director of Hermés Beauty, the products encapsulate the golden rays of a Mediterranean sunset in both essence and hue. Though the products are the work of Pyrpylis, the director also pays homage to the maison’s history with nods to the work of Pierre Hardy (the father of Hermés Beauty) in the products’ packaging. The Soleil d’Hermés powder is cased in a container designed by Hardy, and the pattern of the pressed powder itself evokes both the sun’s rays and the Op’H medallion featured in the house’s jewellery collections.

The iridescent powder blends hues of pinks, oranges and golden browns, a subtle golden-hour kaleidoscope that both illuminates and bronzes the skin. The powder is effortlessly complimented by three Rouge Hermés lipsticks. Housed in striped casing reminiscent of a Fruit Pastille ice lolly, the shades are deep and warm reddish-brown, a refreshing change from the powdery pinks we typically see at this time of year.
Of course, no summer beauty routine is complete without a lip oil. The ultimate finishing touch or standalone product to help you feel put-together without packing on a full-face, the Hermèsistible lip oil range has been expanded to include two new limited edition shades: a date-inspired brown, and dreamy pearlescent pink. The cherry on top? The oils contain whispers of a delicate fruity fragrance created by Christine Nagel.
Finally, Hermés have announced the drop of a singular nail enamel. A glowing copper, the radiant shade is the only polish we’ll be reaching for this summer, the ultimate day-to-night shade that perfectly compliments every occasion. Once more housed in a glass bottle designed by Pierre Hardy, finished with the Hermés ex-libris crowning the cap, were you to need a top-up on the go (doubtful, thanks to the long-lasting formula) you’ll be proud to whip it out.
