Get Your Second Skin With Calvin Klein

Calvin Klein adds two new scents to its Hair and Body Perfume Mist line and Smooth Berry and Satin Cream are the kind of casual, layerable fragrances that make getting dressed feel like a ritual.
Calvin Klein Fragrances is growing its Hair and Body Perfume Mist line with two additions, Smooth Berry and Satin Cream, building on a collection it launched last summer as a lighter, more casual take on fragrance.
The mists were conceived less as traditional perfume and more as a daily layering habit, something sprayed on before getting dressed, meant to sit like a “second skin.” The original four scents, Silky Coconut, Sheer Peach, Nude Vanilla, and Cotton Musk, leaned on fruit, vanilla, and musk in varying combinations. The new pair follows that same logic. Smooth Berry, by perfumers Daliz Izem and Gael Montero pairs a raspberry-smoothie note with floral candy accents for something brighter and more youthful. Satin Cream, by Caroline Dumur, goes the opposite direction, mixing whipped vanilla with blackcurrant and woody notes for a softer, warmer effect.
Both are formulated with glycerin, which the brand says keeps the mists from feeling sticky while still hydrating skin, and both rely on a shared base of musk, cashmeran, and ambergris meant to read as “clean” rather than heavy. The line is both vegan and marketed without gender distinction. Calvin Klein suggests wearing the mists alone, layering one with another, or combining one with the brand’s CK One Night Essence for more staying power.
