Chanel Is Making Lips the Main Event at Its Selfridges Rouge Coco Experience
The Rouge Coco Hydra Gloss has arrived in London in the most Chanel way possible a free Selfridges kiosk, 18 summery shades and the launch of a collectible beauty magazine that proves Chanel does everything beautifully.
Chanel has taken over the Duke Street entrance of Selfridges with its Rouge Coco Kiosk, bringing 18 summery shades of mirror-like gloss to London this summer. One application is all it takes to transform lips with long-lasting hydration and a brilliant, reflective finish.
The kiosk runs from 22nd to 29th June, open daily from 10am to 10pm and is free to visit. Visitors can explore the gloss and find their perfect shade while trying refreshments inspired by the collection.
At the heart of the kiosk is the Rouge Coco Hydra Gloss itself. The formula is enriched with Camellia Ceramides developed by Chanel Research and a Hydra Peptide Complex for 24-hour lip hydration. The cocoon-tip applicator makes it a one-swipe job and promises to leave lips smoother, plumper and more luminous, all with zero stickiness.
The 18 shades span four distinct moods: Fresh and Vibrant tones for a frosted or glazed finish; Mouthwatering shades inspired by the “sweet pleasures” of summer; Natural hues drawn from leisurely days on sandy beaches; and Wild Nights metallics for after dark.
Lips aren’t the only glossy thing at the kiosk. Chanel is also launching the first issue of its limited-edition beauty magazine, COCO. This issue celebrates experimentation with colour and draws readers in with an invitation to new conversations about beauty. It comes in eight collectible covers and is packed with gorgeous, vibrant editorial content as well as playful games.
The Rouge Coco Hydra Gloss Kiosk is at the Duke Street entrance of Selfridges, 40 Duke Street, London W1K 1AB, until 29th June. The gloss is available at chanel.com, priced at £39.
