Since 2010, the moment the FIFA World Cup trophy arrives on the pitch before the final has belonged, quietly but unmistakably, to Louis Vuitton. For the 2026 edition, hosted across the United States, Canada and Mexico, that tradition continues with a new Trophy Trunk that might be the most considered one the house has ever made.

Built in the historic workshops of Asnières-sur-Seine, the trunk is covered in the iconic Monogram canvas with two front panels adorned with a hand-painted golden V, standing for both Victory and Vuitton. The exterior is finished with leather lozines, Louis Vuitton’s signature borders, alongside gold-plated brass corner protectors, a lock and clasps that echo those used on the house’s trunks since the 1860s. Inside, light beige leather lining and a partnership logo patch complete what is, in every sense, an exceptional object.

Alongside the Trophy Trunk, Louis Vuitton has unveiled a limited-edition collection of three iconic trunks inspired by the same design. A Coffret 8 Montres for watches, a Cotteville 16 Montres dedicated to watchmaking, and a Malle Courrier Lozine 110, all adorned in Monogram canvas with the hand-painted FIFA World Cup Trophy and the golden V. Each can be personalised with its owner’s initials, because Louis Vuitton has never been a house that does things by half.

Victory, as the house has always said, travels in Louis Vuitton. In 2026, it travels in considerable style.
