DeMellier’s New Bags Are Named After New York Neighbourhoods

The Brooklyn debuts alongside a reworked New York Crossbody, both in new zebra and croc-effect leathers for AW26.
DeMellier has launched its Autumn/Winter 26 collection, embodying the colours of the autumn leaves with a palette of warm brown, bordeaux and dark green. There’s also two new textures: a zebra-effect leather created through dyeing, finishing and screen-printing, and a larger-scale version of the brand’s signature croc-effect leather.
The headline addition is The Brooklyn, a new bag family with elongated proportions, a sculptural fold-over closure and signature belt detailing. It’s available in two sizes, The Brooklyn (€735/£625/$835) and The Midi Brooklyn (€640/£540/$725). Alongside it, The New York Crossbody reworks one of DeMellier’s most recognisable silhouettes with a deeper profile, roomier interior and an adjustable leather strap (€495/£540/$725).
DeMellier’s leathers are Leather Working Group gold and silver-rated and sourced as by-products of the food industry, and the brand donates through its ongoing “A Bag, A Life” partnership with SOS Children’s Villages, which has funded over 2.5 million vaccines for children to date.
