Valentino Garavani revives an iconic shoe for 2026

Romeo and Juliet, Thelma and Louise or Bonnie and Clyde, nothing goes together quite like Valentino and studs. Arriving just on time to the indie-sleaze revival, Valentino Garavani has reintroduced the iconic Rockstud Pumps, first introduced at the Maison’s FW10/11 runway.
The 2026 interpretation preserves the iconic geometric silhouette that is so essential to Valentino’s style codes, finished with a red sole and a platinum finish. The shoe is available in flats, strappy sandals and two heel heights: a modest 40mm and a showstopping 100mm for those going full Valentino. If there’s one thing the House doesn’t do, it’s minimalism.
As for the colourways, there’s classic black and white alongside Valentino red, powder blue and grass green. The shoes themselves do all the talking, but if you need the celebrity stamp of approval to confirm they’re back in fashion, you’ll be pleased to know Anne Hathaway recently wore them to an esteemed Tokyo premiere. The devil doesn’t just wear Prada, she wears Valentino, too. Shop
