The Monogram Hotel Mayfair’s most exclusive address, no overnight stay required
Louis Vuitton continues its celebrations for the 130th anniversary of the House Monogram by opening an ephemeral Mayfair townhouse.
This year has been a big one for Louis Vuitton. Celebrating the 130th anniversary of the iconic Monogram, a series of campaigns spotlighting iconic monogrammed bag silhouettes like the Speedy and Neverfull has culminated in a Louis Vuitton townhouse in Mayfair: a limited edition hotel open for daytime visits only.
Each immersive room in the townhouse is inspired by a different bag. The lobby through which guests enter is named after the original 1930s travel companion, the Keepall. The second floor features an illuminated hotel room filled with Speedy bags, leading into the Speedy P9 Safe Room, inspired by Men’s Creative Director Pharell Williams’ interpretation of the silhouette, drenched in metallic gold wallpaper.
Of course, no hotel is complete without food and beverage facilities. Café Alma serves indulgent pastries and afternoon tea in an environment inspired by the 1930s Parisian Art Deco movement, whilst the lower ground floor hides the Noé bar. Named after the bag intentionally crafted to hold five bottles of champagne, you’ll find the best cocktails the city has to offer, and a late-night DJ, too.
There’s even a gym, naturally named after the Neverfull bag which can hold up to 100kg. Complete with a mirrored weight rack, it’s the perfect place to snap a selfie before you go. As for the spa, trust Louis Vuitton to be a little creative. Instead of saunas and steam rooms, there’s a Care Services area for your LV travel companions to enjoy a little R&R after all the hard work they do for you. Alongside restorative treatments, pieces can be customised with limited edition hot-stamping patches, the most exclusive passport-stamp alternative on the market.
