From figure-skaters to skateboarders, Louis Vuitton taps Tyshawn Jones for its pre-fall 2026 campaign.

Just days after announcing figure-skating star Alysa Liu as its new brand ambassador, Louis Vuitton has unveiled its pre-fall menswear campaign leader, skateboarder Tyshawn Jones.

Jones went viral back in 2024 after performing tricks in Paris on an LV skateboard and wearing boots from the House’s collaboration with Timberland, so (as is usually the case with Louis Vuitton), the partnership feels extremely authentic. The authenticity of the campaign is only extended by the fact that it was shot in Jones’ hometown of New York.

The collection draws on the interests of Menswear Creative Director Pharrell Williams’ interests, specifically the modern Dandy archetype. It perfectly balances the House’s signature preppy style codes with Williams’ streetwear and skating interests (he actually adopted the moniker ‘Skateboard P’ back in the ’90s. The more you know!).

The campaign, shot by Oliver Hadlee Pearch, is extremely playful, following Jones and friends climbing boulders, playing table tennis and sailing toy boats. The pieces in the collection range from classic LV silhouettes like blousons and linen shirts to more modern ripped jeans and boxer-length short-shorts even Paul Mescal would be proud of.

The Monogram and Damier patterns, of course, remain central to the collection, especially across the sports bag arm which includes Williams’ own Speedy P9 design. The Monogram Grid print nods to racquet sports, and there’s even a ping-pong paddle (although I would be more keen to display this on my mantlepiece than throw it around Central Park). The final drop releases on May 21.
