The watch industry is usually obsessed with history and convention, but Off-White is treating its debut timepiece line like a piece of limited-run merchandise.

Off-White is officially getting into timepieces. Dropping globally today, the brand’s debut watch collection, simply titled “TIME”, completely ignores traditional luxury watch retail. Instead of stocking jewelry boutiques with models that sit on shelves for years, the brand is releasing these pieces in limited numbers, changing up the colourways, and using the same fast-paced drop system that drives sneaker culture.

The 10-piece collection relies heavily on the raw, industrial look established by the late Virgil Abloh. Rather than hiding the inner gears behind solid metal, the watch cases use transparent materials to show off the mechanics. The brand’s signature cross-arrows motif is built right into the structure of the dial, alongside raw text accents and blocky, geometric frames.

The collection is split across five different style paths. It starts with the work-in-progress look of the Proto line and moves into a chunkier, heavy-set metal frame called Heavy Duty. For a louder look, the Street Bling and After Hours models introduce diagonal graphic patterns and pavé stone detailing.

Instead of partnering with classic watch dealers, Off-White is selling the line through top-tier fashion boutiques, concept stores, and high-end sneaker destinations.
