From gravity-defying cat-eyes to crystal-spiked frames McQueen's SS26 eyewear collection is the most dramatic thing you'll put on your face this season.

Who else absolutely adores a funky pair of sunglasses? Oversized or barely there, nothing elevates an outfit like a good pair of sunnies (and yes, I am one of those people who will wear them inside. They’re part of the outfit, okay?). I’m always on the hunt for new shades, but after a good few years of curating my collection, it’s not often I find something worth splurging on. McQueen, however, has pulled on both my heart strings and my purse strings with its SS26 eyewear collection.

In typical McQueen style, over-the-top silhouettes is the name of the game when it comes to this capsule. From an Oversized Visor that covers half the face to Cat-eyes so delicate they defy gravity, there’s nothing minimalist about the collection.

It’s not only shape and size that the collection explores, but texture, too. There’s bubble-framed Oval Sunglasses and 3D Two-tone Sunglasses which feature a smaller pair injected into a solid smoke mask to create a layering effect. A pair of dramatic Spike Cat-eye Sunglasses is embellished with crystals and logo T-bars sit on the arms of the collection’s more understated Y2K Metal Sunglasses.

The collection plays with form in an admirable way that translates across both smaller and bigger silhouettes ensuring every piece is a true statement piece. Sold? Thought so. Have a gander here.
