Louis Vuitton races into the Monaco Grand Prix

From Grace Kelly to Kimi Antonelli, Monaco has always been where sport meets style and Louis Vuitton's sixth consecutive Grand Prix partnership proves the Maison belongs at the heart of both.

The intersection between sport and fashion is really having its moment right now. Just take a look at the recent press around Arsenal, fashion’s unofficial favourite football club. A far-cry from the blokette-core renaissance, though, sits Louis Vuitton’s Formula 1 partnership.

The Monaco Grand Prix has always been the melting pot destination for sport and style. A French Riviera haven and former home of Grace Kelly, the city-state has a well-established history of glitz and glamour. So when Louis Vuitton first joined the F1 festivities back in 2021, the partnership just made sense.

This year, the House proudly presented the bespoke Trophy Trunk for the sixth consecutive year. The trophy was claimed by Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli, but before his victory, the stunning red and black Monogrammed case was presented by Louis Vuitton Ambassador Hoyeon. Complete with a ‘V’ for both ‘Victory’ and ‘Vuitton’, the case embodies the elegance and velocity of the Monaco circuit.

The Maison really upped the ante in Monaco this year, not only presenting the traditional Trophy Trunk, but also debuting a new Monaco City Guide; the go-to guide for cosmopolitan visitors asking “what would Louis Vuitton do?” The collaboration also saw the debut of new window displays at the Vitrine Magasin Louis Vuitton in Monaco, featuring a miniature vintage race track and some of the House’s most iconic leather hold-all silhouettes.
