Louis Vuitton and Marc Newson debut a super sleek aluminium suitcase

Monogram embossed, sleek and inspired by 19th century LV trunks. The aluminium suitcase has never looked so good.
Louis Vuitton first collaborated with Marc Newson over 10 years ago. Having predominantly worked with aluminium, his first venture into the Louis Vuitton world was a limited edition biomorphic Monogram rucksack. Now, he’s designed the House’s first ever aluminium suitcase.
The Horizon Aluminium builds upon the original Horizon silhouette which first debuted in 2016. An elegant embodiment of Louis Vuitton’s Art of Travel philosophy, the case is inspired by the House’s aluminium trunks from the 19th century LV archives. Instead of the traditional aluminium dents, Louis Vuitton has opted for Monogram embossing instead.
Keeping in touch with true LV style, Marc Newton designed the first ever aluminium case with invisible rivets and hinges, so it’s even sleeker than any other silver suitcase you’ll find on the market. The Horizon Aluminium is practically the definition of what it means to travel in style. On-trend with the aluminium suitcase boom, but imbued with Louis Vuitton’s timeless savoir-faire, it’s the ultimate luxury travel companion. Shop
