Missoni debuts a new home capsule as part of their SS26 collection.

Luxury fashion house Missoni is best known for their colourful patterned knitwear, but their equally luxurious and vibrant homeware collections have often been overlooked in light of this. This season, the brand has made sure not to let this be the case.

During the SS26 debut during Milan Fashion Week, creative director Alberto Caliri had the genius idea to plug the accompanying homeware collection by placing a beach towel on each seat at the show. Though this was primarily to emphasise the desk-to-deckchair concept of the fashion collection, which includes clothes and accessories for all aspects of chic summer living, it also in turn marked the premiere of the seasonal homeware collection.

The campaign imagery is shot within a modern Milanese apartment, as an ode to the brand’s hometown, capturing the products in a lived-in environment accessorised by lipsticks, used matches and, of course, espresso cups, because Missoni’s philosophy is all about lived-in luxury. After all, what’s the fun in investing in high-quality pieces if you’re only going to stare at them?

The collection spans across throws, cushions and poufs dressed in high-quality cotton and cashmere. In Missoni’s signature geometric zig-zag patterns, the SS26 homeware capsule comes in muted colours like creams and burnt umbers for a luxurious, homely feel. Of course, summer is meant to be spent outside (especially if you’re blessed with views of that gorgeous Italian golden hour), so the collection also includes waterproof and sun-resistant outdoor offerings, perfect for enjoying a cappuccino and cornetto on the balcony. Delightful.
