From Digital Dunes to Real Cairo Streets, Casablanca’s Egypt Story Continues

After a Pre-Fall campaign built from digital dunes, Casablanca heads to actual Cairo for something rawer, shot by photographer Theo Liu.
Casablanca has been building an imagined version of Egypt all year through digitally rendered dunes, celestial lavender skies, and models posed with falcons beside monogrammed luggage under a sky that looks like a movie set. That was Pre-Fall 2026, shot using virtual production technology, closer to Death on the Nile than to anywhere you could actually book a flight to.
Fall/Winter 2026: Carnet De Voyage is taking a different approach. Shot on location in Cairo by photographer Theo Liu, who previously brought the same approach to Casablanca’s campaign in Japan, this one ditches the mythology and the digital dreamscapes. A young traveller’s visual diary is shown, with shared meals, fleeting street encounters and of course, the unglamorous texture of a real city rather than a constructed one.

The collection carries the house’s usual signatures of colour-gradient sets, printed silk separates, full-length dresses and swimwear, all popping harder against Cairo’s real streets. The cast mixes four regular Casablanca faces – Youssef Rocha, Mohamed Hassan, Lulu Wood and Rania Benchegra, with two Egyptian actors cast locally, Youssef Sharaf and Adhar Abiem, both familiar names in Egyptian cinema.
Casablanca Fall/Winter 2026 is available now on casablancaparis.com, at the brand’s Los Angeles and Paris flagships, and at select boutiques worldwide.
