Every shoe-obsessive's fantasy throne, made real for Ferragamo's Fall/Winter 2026 campaign.

What do you do with a few hundred old shoes nobody’s wearing anymore? Ask Ferragamo, and apparently the answer is: build a throne and sit a supermodel on it. The house’s Fall/Winter 2026 campaign, shot by Johnny Dufort, focuses on a 1994 sculpture by artist Willie Cole, made entirely from shoes and repurposed as a seat for Anok Yai in one of the campaign’s key images. Creative director Maximilian Davis has been leaning into Surrealism for a while now, most recently building his Pre-Spring 2027 collection around it, translating collage and patchworked colour and texture into the clothes. Cole’s sculpture, which turns an ordinary object into something stranger and more sculptural, uses the same thinking. The rest of the cast includes Jingyu Huang, Ning Chang, Vittoria Ceretti and Thibaud Charon, styled by Lotta Volkova.

The campaign draws from three archive silhouettes. The stiletto traces back to a shape Salvatore Ferragamo first designed in 1954, the Opanka gets a reworked architectural shell sole based on a construction method Ferragamo pioneered in 1957, and the Varina, the house’s signature flat, appears here in a new quilted version. Davis has said his focus at the house has been sharpening these codes rather than reinventing them, keeping the construction and craft but making sure the details feel more graphic and current.

On accessories, the new Cara bag comes in soft calf leather with an accordion-style construction and Gancini hardware at the closure. The Hug bag returns reshaped into an East-West, horizontal silhouette, and there’s a new men’s messenger bag built for daily use.
