Ferragamo’s 2026 resort collection is A Celebration of Summer
Another day, another resort collection. Are you sick of them yet? Us neither, and a good job, too, because this time it’s Ferragamo’s turn.
The Italian fashion house’s 2026 resort collection is aptly named A Celebration of Summer, because that’s exactly what a resort collection is intended to be. Though traditionally resort collections hit the shelves in autumn ready for a clientele escaping the winter weather in favour of warmer climates, Ferragamo has taken the more modern approach of releasing its collection at the beginning of summer (which, let’s face it, just makes a lot more sense). There’s probably an argument for a recession indicator somewhere in there, but we think it’s just better marketing. This is luxury fashion we’re talking about, after all.
The collection centres around raffia-effect textiles. Raffia is possibly the most summery material of all time, but also one which provides a deep contrast to Ferragamo’s signature leather portfolio, which is also present in the capsule to give it more of a luxurious edge.
Because the collection prioritises raffia, the colour palette is extremely modest and earthy, evoking a sun-drenched Mediterranean landscape. Sands, camels, blacks and browns appear in stripes and block colours across heeled slides, pumps and classic bag silhouettes like the Gancini and Hug.
