Coach Just Opened the Most Playful Store in Le Marais

Coach opens its most immersive Play store yet in the heart of Le Marais, exposed stone walls, vintage neon signs and the Tabby bag at the centre of it all. Paris just got a lot more playful.

If you find yourself in Paris this summer, add 7 rue Sainte-Croix-de-la-Bretonnerie to your list. Coach has just opened Coach Play Paris in the heart of Le Marais, and it is exactly the kind of store that makes you want to spend an entire afternoon inside.

Le Marais was always going to be the right neighbourhood for this. One of the most creative and culturally vibrant corners of the fourth arrondissement, it has the kind of energy that suits Coach’s playful, expressive spirit perfectly. The store itself leans into that, preserving the building’s original exposed stone walls and layering in warm wood, chrome metal accents and bespoke mid-century modern fixtures incorporating speakers and leather patchwork. Then, just when it all feels a little too tasteful, vibrant neon signs appear, inspired by Times Square in the 1970s, and the whole thing comes alive.

Every Coach Play store is designed to feel specific to its location, and this one is no exception. The architecture is distinctly Parisian, the details are distinctly Coach, and the result is a space that feels genuinely immersive rather than just another luxury retail environment dropped into a historic neighbourhood without much thought.

Inside, the Tabby bag sits at the heart of the collection, alongside the New York heritage Coach Originals family, small leather goods, footwear, bag charms and men’s accessories. It is a well-edited mix that covers a lot of ground without feeling overwhelming.

Coach Play Paris is open Monday to Thursday from 10:30 to 19:00, Friday and Saturday from 10:30 to 19:30 and Sunday from 11:00 to 19:00. Worth the detour.
