Bond’s Next Chapter Is a Video Game And His Watch Is Still Omega

Since 1995’s GoldenEye release, James Bond has only been seen in Omega watches. The brand has become as synonymous with the spy series as it has the Olympic Games for which it has been the official timekeeper since 1932. Now, the timeless partnership has undergone a makeover that’s very 2026.

That’s because the next confirmed James Bond installment is not a film, it’s a video game. In 007 First Light, the Seamaster Dive 300M Chronograph 007 First Light is woven into the gameplay, almost becoming a character in itself. In the game, the watch is complete with hacking functionality and laser beams fit for the country’s top agent. 

While the physical version might not include these spy gadgets, it’s still imbued with all of the other super suave design features seen in the game. The 44mm timepiece is crafted from stainless steel, with a polished black ceramic bezel ring and a white enamel diving scale. The NATO strap has a black, grey and beige colourway, complimented by a special Seamaster buckle. 

Of course, the watch includes ‘007’ and ‘First Light’ engravings to commemorate its virtual foundations, but the timepiece is anything but gimmicky.
