The first global luxury Italian fine jeweller gets the exhibition it deserves Pomellato's Palais de Tokyo showcase is a stunning tribute to craftsmanship, colour and the women who wear it.

Pomellato is proud to be the “first global luxury Italian fine jeweller”. A mouthful, sure, but the statement rings true. Founded in 1967, the jewellery brand has become a staple shop for women across the world. And how better to celebrate this global presence than with an exhibition in fashion’s cultural capital: France.

Situated in the Palais de Tokyo, Pomellato: The Revolutionary Jeweller traces the House’s history right from its naming, derived from the Italian word for a rare dappled horse coat, inspired by founder Pino Rabolini’s love for all things equine. It also explores the Maison’s relationship with fashion, having been the first jeweller to entrust its campaigns to the great Masters of Photography. It features imagery by esteemed photographers such as Helmut Newton, Gian Paolo Barbieri and Michael Comte.

Though the evolution of Pomellato’s captured identity stands central to the exhibition, it also explores how the Maison transformed the simple chain from a functional piece to a sculptural signature of high craftsmanship. The impressive mastery of Pomellato’s goldsmiths and their ability to make metal look fluid on the skin is highlighted throughout, alongside the House’s “free gems” philosophy, whereby colour and aesthetic is admired above cost and rarity.

The thread that ties the exhibition together is Pomellato’s enduring dedication to women, from the original pieces designed for women who choose themselves up to the foundation of the Maison’s advocacy platform, Pomellato for Women, in 2017. The platform raises awareness around gender equality and challenges gender-based violence. Curated by Alba Cappellieri, the exhibition is on show at the Palais de Tokyo, Paris from 24 June to 20 July 2026. Book Tickets
