The line up for the Somerset House Summer Series has been revealed
Set against the historic courtyard of Somerset House, the Summer Series returns for 2026 with a standout lineup blending iconic acts like The Flaming Lips and The Cribs with rising names, all delivered in one of London’s most intimate and atmospheric festival settings.
The Somerset House Summer Series is returning for 2026, and trust us when we say that the lineup is stacked. For those of you not already in the know, here’s the gist: a July outdoor music festival in the grounds of an 18th century building in the heart of central London.
We’re not shy of music festivals here in the Big Smoke, but one thing that makes the Somerset House Summer series really standout is the super central location. Whilst BST and All Points East take place in parks, the Somerset House Summer Series is right on the Strand, giving the events a very uniquely London vibe. Because of this, the space has quite a limited capacity, although we like to think of it as more exclusive than small. 1,500 people in a courtyard (as opposed to 65,000 in a park like some of the other events in the city) means the atmosphere is intimate, but still super buzzy. Especially when you consider the outdoor bar. Yes please.
What the Summer Series does a particularly fab job of is platforming both established and burgeoning artists on the same stage, so no matter who’s performing there’s a really excited energy in the space. This year, the lineup includes established indie legends like The Cribs, Lightning Seeds and The Flaming Lips alongside culturally relevant newer artists like Palace and Black Country, New Roads. Completing the lineup are lesser known breakthroughs like Punjabi hip-hop artist Raf Sappera and saxophonist Venna. For the full lineup, more info and (of course) tickets, follow this link.
